Micaela di Leonardo

I always like Micaela di Leonardo, and also the sound of her name, but I never read her books. I want to read Exotics at Home: Anthropologies, Others, American Modernity (Chicago). For people wondering about cultural relativism, I recommend her article “The Right’s Attack on ‘Cultural Relativism’ as Synecdoche for All That Ails Us” (The Nation 262:14 [4/8/1996], available in JSTOR). I have just thrown out my paper copy of this because I have to get rid of papers.

Axé.
