Yet more books

I would like to have a good library, and some good bookstores, as I would truly use them. I would have fewer books around the house and office that I do not use but might, and fewer pieces of paper reminding me of books I should track down with some difficulty or buy at some expense.

Here are some keywords, randomly: Marie Vieux-Chauvet, Haiti, Jacques Stephen Alexis, Madison Smartt Bell, Toussaint L’ouverture, Red and Black in Haiti; Isak Dinesen and life as performance; James Neugass’ War is Beautiful: An American Ambulance Driver in the Spanish Civil War.
